Award Judgment Criteria

The judges will be looking for new businesses that are able to show growth through the provision of excellent services to other businesses.

  • Cost Effectiveness i.e. The innovation’s ability to give the target customer value for their money.
  • Viability i.e. Potential for success upon rollout.
  • Scalability i.e. Capacity to grow to meet increased demand.
  • Applicability i.e. Relevance to the sector (Will people want, or need your product?)
  • Safety i.e. Is the solution likely to cause harm or injury to users and or the environment.
  • Impact i.e. How effective and sustainable is the solution?

Top tips:

  • Don’t fall back on cliches and tired storylines.
  • Don’t undersell yourself, your innovation or your hard work.
  • Give us the truth/facts, not just the formula.
  • You are the hero/heroine of your story; tell us about your ingenuity, your insight.
